Course Objective
This course is intended primarily for non-accounting majors. The course begins with an introduction to accounting terminology, accounting procedures, and the primary financial statements. The remaining class sessions are devoted to an in-depth analysis of the accounting for important components of financial statements (e.g., inventories, long-term obligations), followed by a detailed introduction to cost and managerial accounting.

Grading Policy
1. Midterm 35%, Final Exam 40%.
2. Quiz, Assignment, & Internet Discussion 15%.
3.Class Participation10%.
4. A make-up examination will be taken about 2 weeks from the final
exam for students getting grade below 60 and above 50.
